Marks First Launch of BREW Services in Indonesia
JAKARTA, December 18, 2007 - PT Mobile-8 Telecom Tbk (Mobile-8), the first CDMA-based Indonesian cellular operator with full mobility services commonly known for its brand product FREN, today announced its launch of wireless data services based on Qualcomm's BREW® solution with their product b-Live. Mobile-8 is the first operator in Indonesia to deploy BREW which will launch on Mobile-8's 3G CDMA network. b-Live will initially be available on entry level handsets, including Mobile-8's bundling handsets, Fren-ZTE C 300 and Fren-ZTE C 330.
Known for its innovative services with simplicity value. Mobile-8 is also the first Indonesian CDMAcellular operator to offer streaming video using their 3G technology, TV Mobi, which was launched in June 2006. Mobile-8 collaborated with two world class companies, including Qualcomm and PT Informasi Teknologi Indonesia (Jatis Mobile), a subsidiary of Jatis Solutions in Jatis Group, the leading mobile application aggregator in Indonesia.

The launch of b-Live zone is part of Mobile-8's commitment in providing high-quality telecommunication solutions along with easy access for all of its subscribers, both prepaid and postpaid. Applications that are available on b-Live include games (such as Sudoku and Javanese Chess), news (such as News OkeZone and News Hai) with lifestyle infos, approximately thousands of ringtones, horoscopes (including western, Chinese and Javanese horoscopes) and English Dictionary. These applications are currently available on both the ZTE C 300 handset with a monochrome screen as well as the ZTE C 330 with a coloured screen. In the future, Mobile-8 will develop more applications on various BREW-enabled handsets for Indonesian consumers.
